I have the factory service manual at home. I can post them later this evening, if some one doesn't beat me to it.

For a 1992:
MJ = 140 (x4)
PJ = 38 (x4)
FH = 13 ± 2mm

If you go back to stock specs, a good thing to do is to adjust the air screws at~2½ turns and shim stock needles 0.5~1 mm (0.020"~0.040"). If you use your current adjustable needles from the jet kit (OEM are not adjustable), install the clips in the 2nd (from bottom) groove.

All this is no begin with; fine tuning is usually needed for a closer to perfect mixture.

You are doing the right thing in taking it apart. Dont knock a jet kit yet, when INSTALLED PROPERLY! I have a dynojet kit and get 48.8 MPG (Memorial Day weekend) and runs awesome! The guy that installed it on your bike did not set something up correct. I dont know the oem setting but I would find out who and what about the kit and settings installed in your bike. Then check that info with the settings on the carbs now and go from there.

Carbs...

I just bought a '93 ZX-11 recently and the previous owner had carb problems. He bought a newer set of carbs and it ran good at lower rpms but choked itself at WOT. I got the old carbs and they had 140's in them. The new carbs had 160's. I also set my mixture screws to 2 turns out for a starting point.
