'92 ZX 11 EBC Contour Prolite Rotors EBC Double H Sintered Brakes
I'm replacing the front rotors with EBC Contour Pro-Lite rotors and EBC Double H sintered pads.
What steel lines should I use?
Also, is the stock master cylinder OK? I hate to spend the $ 250 + on a Brembo.
Thanks,
Eric

I think the oem master cyl. is fine. I have the Pro-Lite race rotors and HH pads on mine and they work great! All except for the rear. It warped after 200 miles. You really have to put some heat in them to get the most from them. As far as lines, I went with the Galfer's, because my freind is a dealer and got me a steal. They all work about the same.

I put Russell lins on mine and it was a close fit. If I had to again I would take careful measurements and get a set of Speigler dual lines and take the hassle of the spliter out of the equation since the brake light switch is at the master. And there is no problem with the stock master cylinder.

on the dual lines....the Galfers are dual and I got rid of the splitter as well. The Galfers also have the rotating fittings like the Speiglers.

I have Galfer HH pads and a Galfer two line kit on mine and it works great. Smooth strong braking with less lever pull. I have about 300 miles on my galfer rotors (front & rear) and have had no problems to date
You can get the line kit both stainless and color for a great price at

Thanks for the Gafler lines and rotor info, I'll go with Gafler lines. Is there any disadvantage/advantage to the contoured edge. I'm about to order the EBC Pro-Lite Contour rotors.

That particular rotor I nelieve the main advantage is looks, and a loss of a little rotational mass due to less steel used on the contours. some of the Galfer rotors claim to be self cleaning and run cooler. They do run cooler but i have yet to see the self cleaning part

HEL lines are good also. I have a complete set (brakes f&r, clutch) They come with various colored sheaths or clear, but the braided stuff can't abrade parts they rub against due to the sheaths.
