Carb setup help...

I am running a 95 ZX11 with full Micron Exhaust, K&N filter... What should I jet my carbs to? I have not pulled carbs off yet to see what they have been jetted to. But supposedly they were jetted before I bought them. Dyno test showed running way too rich and lean at times. What has others found the best setup to be?

carb setup

Have the same bike and pipe and filter, only difference is stick coil conversion, but i have a factorypro jet kit installed, after reading many post's and set up guide's i set the needles at pos.2 with shim under, mains 162 out,160 in,float height 15mm and mixture screws 2 1/4 out, runs great with no flatspot at 3500 rpm, takes full throttle in top from 1500rpm with no dips in power i can feel,am going to put it on the dyno next week to get a printout and see the difference from before with standard jetting, will post graph's

I have the same kit in my 96 D model, Factory Pro 10 T.I, with a Full muzzy's 4-1,K&N filter. I too have my needles set on the second postion with a shim under. The only other thing is I installed the air valve block off kit on mine awhile back. my bike pulls strong to redline in every gear with no dips in power, the best change was in traffic, i completly lost the dip in the 3300-4800 rpm range. Every bike is different , IMHO if u are going into the carbs, clean them throughly and start with a good kit, i have used both the dynajet and factory pro, both are good, i just prefer the Factory Pro. great kit with alot of jet options and alot of advice on settings to start off with. Best of luck!

dyno result

Got the bike dyno'd last friday, got the result i was looking for after installing the factorypro jetkit and coil sticks, got rid of the dips in midrange at 6200rpm and 7500rpm and feels alot smoother and healthier now.
Dyno operator said mixture was spot on up to 9000rpm when it went a little rich at the top end, said i could go down a main jet size if i wanted which would continue the shape of the curve up to peak instead of flattening slightly,I am happy with it as is at the moment,do most of my riding in the midrange, may fiddle next winter.
Have posted the dyno readout so you can can see the before(blue line...micron system, baffled can,k&n filter) and after(red line....micron system, race can,k&n filter, factorypro jetkit, stick coils)..well worth it in my opinion
