As for the new ZX-10R, as with everybike regarding it's looks, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, I personally have always prefered to let feel and performance control which bike I end up riding (for a given purpose that is). And if this new ZX-10R is as wicked as they say it is, I think that factor would control my choice MUCH before how it looks (or doesn't look); to me, that kinda talk should be left for women shopping for shoes, not men who are looking to REALLY ride performance motorcycles.

Well MotoVegas,
I don't think anyone in here can argue your point. Your words were spoken from a true RIDER, not a parking lot poser!!! I agree with you 110%!

I own both the 06 and 08 ZX-10 and I must say... I'm all about performance! The 08 is 100% better than the 06. As far as the looks of the bike, It's all about personal taste. I love the look of the 08 and I love the performance even more! If you want a "Fat" bike that looks good and performance isn't the most important thing to you.....
Go visit your local Harley dealer!!!
Just my 2cents

Why not learn to ride one well?
So, the 08 is 100% better than the 06 eh? so that would mean the 08 will do about 150mph in first gear? lean to the point where your knee sticks in the ground and your leathers are torn off? (do you wear leathers, or are you a shorts and Tshirt man?) It must top out at about 270mph? jeez thats quick, your all for performance ............So am I
Wish i lived in the states, id come and leave tyre marks all over ya ass (arse) on my 06

Well, for your info...
I lived in Germany all of my life and learned to ride over there, I moved to the states about 10 months ago due to my job. If you think I wear t-shirts and shorts when I ride... look at the pic you wanker.
Tell ya what... I'm going back to Germany in June. Why don't you hop on the Ferry from Dover to Calais and we'll see it you can leave tire (Tyre) marks on my ass. Just don't forget to ride on the correct side of the road!!!

i was at a local dealer today with a buddy of mine he was looking to get a new bike, i looked at the 08 zx10 again and again, i moved a 07 leftover next to it and just looked at them for like 15 minutes... and i must say the 07 is a nice looking bike, the 08 is not bad either, you guys are forgeting one thing, the exhaust you are complaining about will get changed by 99% of the people that buy the damm thing anyways.. so why look at it, as far as the front.. i just hope that someone starts selling some aftermarket mirrors and blinkers for it SOON... other than that the bike is nice.. i like both and if i had the money i would buy the 08 aswell
