Thumbs up Custom Seat Creations

Hey Fellow ZXers...

Just thought I would share this with y'all. I saw these custom seat covers on Ebay, and thought they looked sic. So I decided to order them from Custom Seat Creations.

The price seemed too good to be true. I mean, where can you get custom seat covers, for that cheap (I think they were $35 plus shipping), that they will allow you to custom order the material, and the colours that you want on your ride, right?

Well they showed up yesterday, and I couldn't wait to get them on the bike... even though it is now November, but I had to do it. The whole operation, removal of my original seat covers, and the installation of the new skins took roughly between 75 - 90 minutes.

I think they look great, and drastically changed the appearance of the bike, giving it such a custom look, but you can judge for yourself.

If you want a cheap mod that makes your bike stand out from the rest... I sincerely recommend this as an option.

You can find them by clicking on their name in the original post... it will take you to their website.

On their website... they have a link for Ebay postings. Good luck.

You can find a comfier seat by going with a Corbin for sure, but there are also companies out there that make a gel pack for you seat that you can insert under your existing seat covers.

I have sat on the gel packs, when at a bike show, and after I got up they lifted up that pack to show that there were brackets and sharp edge metal pieces underneath that I couldn't even feel.

Thanks for the comments on the seats guys... It doesn't really show, but the black part is like Carbon Fibre Material... I think it ties it all in nicely.

Res... so your seat covers are better looking? Great... post some pics for us to see. I look forward to seeing them... I like custom mods that set peoples rides apart from others.

Check out their site... they have some ideas for color schemes, and they have all kinds of different materials and colours.

I would suggest something like a silver CF mixed with a black seeing as your decals on your bike are silver. Potentially, if you look at my seats... look at replacing all my black pieces with Silver... and all the green with Black CF. I think that would look good... but check the site, they have some ideas.

Also, I sent pics of the finished install back to Custom Seat Creations and they issued me a $10 rebate (and a nice email) for supplying them with photos.

Totally not expected, but they give you a shipping rebate if you send pics in.... another thing that I thought was awesome in dealing with them.

^^agreed..... I think I will order one in the new year! I will keep you guys updated as I am concerned that I dont get to see the design before I get it and it could turn out very ordinary indeed.

Yes.. they are the same. Bikes travel in 2 year cycles...

04/05 same
06/07 same

You should also know that a few of the parts from the 05 6R will also fit the 06/07 10R. (ie: throttle drum)

luimoto.com makes the same type covers. If you go to that website, it now directs you to ebay to make a purchase until their new website is complete. They have tons of color/design combinations you can see on their website.

Anyway, looks great Dude!
