Angry Clutch cable

so here is the low down... just had the 12k service done last thursday and riding home tonight i stop at a traffic light and hear a "pop"... light turns green and clutch engages way to fast... get home and check it out, the cable has snapped and begun to fray at the lever... where is the irony in this?? anyone know if this is a warrenty issue or will i be SOL and paying out of pocket?

cheap and easy fix, no worries. cables wear out fast when the lube wears off.

I have 12,500 on my 10 and the cable feels as good as new. I use Water Displacement # 40 with my cable lubber and it works great. Ya only use the clutch once a ride right

This time, tie a dollar bill around the clutch cable... It's good luck.
