05 zx10r engine knock?
Has just started. comes and goes somewhat.usually under hard acceleration 3-5K ...but goes away as Rs increase ( seems to cover 1k band.High in the head what sounds like a engine knock...but sounds higher than I would expect an engine knock would sound. Changed fuel...will add octane improver to locate this new anomally.CRAP1 everything was copasetic a wek ago.
sure its not just the normal Kawasaki engine tick/noise ?? I know all the Kawis ive had make the tick at idle and up to a certain RPM then you never hear it in the upper rev range.... if its a hard knock then somethings not right Id have it looked at for sure.. good luck

How many miles on it? You could have a cam chain tensioner loosening up. Or you could be getting some crappy fuel, but it'd have to be pretty watered down I'd think. Try the PJ1 Octane +, that stuff has a good solid kick for an octane booster, unlike most of them.
