Need Help w/Gears
Do you have any ideas? I mean can anyone explain what exactly is good for a drag/street/track bike? I really don't get what is better with gears and no one is really had a explanation for me that made sense, I think it would be pretty clearcut but ya still asking.
And where would I find a stronger chain too, it's just the regular ZX-10R 1kE but I'm hoping to kick up some numbers and rubber.

If you're riding street but still want a good gearing for the strip...-1F/+2R. Although, with a 10, the thing is gonna stand up on the rear wheel with a quickness. Lowering the bike and maybe stretching it a couple of inches will help keep the front end down. If you're wanting to go with a stronger chain, make sure you swap both sprockets to match. But check out RK, EK, and DID chains.

Who makes a good lowering kit? I am also going to widen the tire out with a new Pirelli set, does Vortex make something like that? I'm not to worried about her kicking up anymore, she's got it where I need it, and it's been few months so even with the exhaust, air filter, and dyno she's not to hard to keep down.

I don't know much about lowering links, but if you google "lowering links", I'm sure there will be a ton of places to look and buy.

I'm going to get the Vortex gears and alot other parts they have most of it, and slap on the RK chain that works best.
I just now need to know about the type of chain that I should consider like X or Z what's the big differences? Any reliablity issues or something? Anyone?

Stay away from aluminum rear sprockets. The Con's out way the pro's you'r better off with a good steel set.

There are a ton of options out there but you may need to decide what exactly your looking for, Its hard to have a "drag/street/track bike" all in one but I think you can find a comfortable median... I wouldnt recommend messing with the front sprocket and starting with 2 up in the rear... Check out my site we have some killer deals on AFAM sprocket kits, I can also get you a Vortex setup... Hit me up if you have any other questions... brian@stdreams.com

NP have see how it all goes, I'm working hard to figure it all out... I'm pretty into the silver one with the black, but we'll see, it'll be fine either way I'm getting the job done. Just have to figure out how much have to pay to move her to my next command...
