04 ZX10 fuel tank seems to 'whistle' when switched off
HI all
on my first decent ridout on my recently acquired zx10r, there seems to be a recurring whistling sound coming from the fuel tank when the engine is off. it lasts around 3-5 seconds, doesnt get louder, is constant. it sounds like air escaping from somewhere?
Yea, what they said. When it happens, a quick open and closing of the gas tank would do the trick. But it's nothing to worry about.
