Is it worth the money or a noticable difference.
I have a 04 ZX-10R with motor work done. The butterflies are removed. Is it worth getting a TRE as well? Also does it effect the Custom Map?
i think the tre just keeps the secondary's open once in gear, if you have removed them then theres no point to have the tre, i think,
I have a tre on my 07 zx10 but i still have the secondary's installed. as for the mapping mine makes the bike think its always in 4th gear so the map is a little different.
If you have your butterflies removed it wont have as much as an effect, and yes you should consider re-mapping it after the install... Its a good mod though, we have the Healtech GIPRO A-TRE which also has a gear indicator... Its a nice mod...
