Finally took some shots, My 08 ZX10r

Haven't been on this forum lately, just been so busy. Well, no more 636 as insurance has totalled my bike. After 3 months having the 10R, I finally got around having some pix taken. Love my new green machine. Coming from a 636 and then to this liter bike has been a great transition for me. Handles great, feels like a 600, but just can't beat the power of a liter. So far only mods I have is a Puig Light smoke double bubble screen, and R&G Racing frame sliders, as well as their right and left engine case sliders, radiator cover, bar ends and HID's. Enjoy!
Most if not all are HDR pix.

My Old 636,

Love the bike! Had a few questions for you.Has the puig double bubble helped with wind protection at all? I find the stock windscreen offers virtually no protection even in full tuck.Second, how do you like the kushitani kawasaki leathers? I just bought a new SPIDI suit this past spring that I really like but was curious about the Kushi's.

Have you posted these pics before? I swear I have seen them before. Anyway, nice rides. And just out of curiosity, has anyone put out anything to replace the stock turn signals on the front? That is one thing that just bugs the hell out of me about the new 10. And what model camera are you using? That thing takes awesome pics.

Are you also Fobstylin on another forum?

HIDs you say? What'd that run you, if you don't mind my asking?

Sweet pics, very well done. Like the 636 also, too bad about that... it's always sad to hear one go.

Well as far as wind protection goes, yes it does offer more than the stock, but for some it may not be significant enough. Then again the 08's do tend to get a lil sketchy with high winds. Anyhow, to answer your question, the screen has helped me with wind protection. As for the Kushitani suit, I really enjoy them, very soft leather, yet durable and very comfortable once broken in. You can actually go to Kushitani's website and have your own custom suit made.

Yeah, I've posted them before in other forums that I am on. Yes, I'm fobstylin on kawiforums. The camera is a Canon 30D. As for the turn signals, I know Kawasaki UK sells aftermarket turn signals that are made from Kawasaki. I know that sounds weird, but you can check by logging onto UK's Kawasaki site. It's ridiculously priced at like $200 -$300 dollars for the pair. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything like that here in the states. Here's a pix of what they look like.

Yeah, they just bug me hanging off the mirror stalks. Why not do like Ducati and Suzuki for a cleaner look, ya know?

Yes, currently running a digital 55w ballast *slim* H9 3000k high beam, and H11 8000k low beam. Yeah, loved the 636. In terms of comfort wise, it beats the 10r, but then again, wow, this 10r is a beast.

Here's some vids I took from the front, and front view

Yeah, tell me about it. I don't know why though, but over time, despite the signals buggin me, I think I'm growing into 'em

Well, it's real easy to verify that they're working while you're riding!

Wow, that light is loud when it kicks on! It sounds like you're starting the bike when you turn it on. Nice though. I'm really not happy with my headlights, and not sure a bulb upgrade will satisfy me. It's a much bigger investment to step up to HIDs though...

You'd be surprised as to how much of an improvement it is by changing to some aftermarket light bulbs. Look for some Sylvania Silverstars in your bulb size. Affordable as well. Give it a try.
