Lightbulb Attn: 2nd genners who want a side out GP style exhaust

OK racefit has hosed us, barracuda has no US distributor. I know there is a lot of us 06-07 guys who want a GP style exhaust...there are tons of companies making big $$ in the UK making them, lets give Area P some support and possibly get a price WAY LESS than the competition. You will have to trim your swingarm plate and your fairing a little but the look and sound is worth it. Please reply to this thread and tell me you interested, I will forward Area P the link, I am talking with them now and have already sparked som interest today on the forum. Thanks everyone.

I just got email from area P today and I was asking that EXACT same thing. He told me theres not enough looking for that to frame one up. But he was willing to send me the stuff stating that I could get someone to weld it up in the possition I want. Well fortunatly I do have a shop and can TIG it myself. But I really would like it turn key. I am still waiting on the price and will let you know tommoro. But I definetly want to 86 my undertail for conventional.

exaust

Well he wrote me back and basicaly he will sell you the parts but you will have to hack and weld I stilll think its cheaper than the other alternatives so I will probably go for it after my track day on the 22nd

Guennie Pig

Well I guess I am it. Had a Email from Area P and My bike will be going to the there shop the week after my track day (22nd). So need all you to give me feedback on what your looking for. Like do we want just short and sweet or is there something else you guys had in mind I had 2 ideas. 1 still using the channel throug the swing arm but instead of going high. turning right away and shooting more or less straight back but keeping it short. The other is just a no nonsense GP style nice and lite. What do ya think Got some time so help me figure it out as he says he will jig it for others.

I was thinking something similar to the racefit setup, I dont mind trimming the plate and fairing a little, just a slip on, no cat replacement, my state is really tough on emissions, you can buy a cat replacement from arrow if you want to go that route, I am tring to keep the price as low as possible, those guys at areaP are really cool for doing this for us
