-2 +4 to much for street?

I'm not all that familiar with liter bikes so i have a quick question. I have a zx10r that im in the process of doing some crazy shit to. My question is obviously on gearing. I happen to have a -2 in the front and up 4 in the back. is this to crazy geared for the street? Will it be to wound out on the highway? I'm familiar with 600 gearing and what not but just don't know about the 1000cc monsters.

Well I had -1,+3 for racing and found that too wild, changing back now to just -1 in front and stock rear (40). -2,+4 will be good for stunting, but otherwise too wild for normal riding.

Some think that -1+2 is too much for street, -2 plus 4 would be insane, and suicidal. You wont be able to keep the front wheel on the ground, the gears are going to be very short, you will be red lining at 75MPH... I have never seen anyone go more the -1+2 on the zx10

With -1,+2 the front of my bike is very light... I couldn't imagine -2,+4...
