Hey guys I hav'nt been around much here lately , but I wanted to show you guys some pics of the bike and see what yall thought. I shortened up my Arata cans from 15" down to 10" and put some new shinko stealths on her. I decided to go "murdered out" flat black plastics and I had the wheels powder coated black as well. Let me know what you think.

Dayum... that looks pretty sick. I wouldn't want it on my bike, but it looks pretty badass anyway.

Pretty sweet...as long as you don't turn it into a rat bike. Very stealthy looking. I like it.

yeah thats slick, just neds a seat cowl and im thinkin powder coat those cans too. as the jbear said "ass-kickery".

finally someone else thinks thats cool! i was thinking how cool it would be to put some "no step" or "hot exhaust" stickers on a bike, make it look like a jet fighter... if you really wanted to go the 9 yards, even paint a heads up display on the windscreen... then it'd be show bike material

sorry to thread jack, but is that a kbc helmet? its got kbc venting, is it a new line?, cos that helmets cool as.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Most folks that see the bike are like "what kind of bike is that?" A real Kawi guy knows it as soon as he sees the dual cans and the shape of the tank! I still have to get my front fork seals replaced and reinstall the front turn signals ,and then I'll be done for a while. I'm really thinkin about getting an 08. I will have the plastics off of her and stealthed out before the exhaust system makes it to my front door :D .
Here is the helmet I have. The matte finish matches the bike perfectly, in fact thats where the insperation for the paint scheme came from.

I agree on the seat cowl, thats comin from Ebay as we speak :D . I'm not sure about blacking out the cans though , and once its done I cant go back if I dont like it. Still trying to decide if I'm gonna do it or not.
