Just saw a new model in the local shop, and they have a special price (11k€) for it at the moment.....very tempting. SO, here is my question that hopefully someone can answer.

I like to ride for long(er) distances, and currently have a Speed Triple, the issue is I like to ride with the wife on the back. The ST is pretty uncomfortable for her, as the pegs are very high. I can see that on the ZX the pegs are much lower, but never having had a sports bike, what is the wind resistance like for the back....

Overall, what is the ride like if you were running for 2-3 hours....?

A nightmare. I assume this is an 08 ZX10 your talking about? a zx14, or better, a concourse would be a better pick for what your describing... course you wont find one at that price...

Pillion on any modern sports bike is shite :)

but i ride a busa.
possibly the best sportbike for passengers.
the pass seat is very lose to the drivers seat in height. the girl dont have to lean forward like squatting to take a dump. also wide and comfy.
also has a generous grab bar in the back, keeping her weight off you, and smashing the nuts against the tank.
