You went to all that trouble to fit a... stock exhaust... on a bike that actually has other options? Why would you do this? That first pic looks awesome, and I'd bet sounds pretty good too. The stock can is one of the things I hate the most about my '05. It looks like crap, sounds like an old weed whacker, and bolts up in an awkward route that's reminiscent of a dog with a broken leg. If Anyone actually made an attractive undertail exhaust like you had- for my '05- this pos stock can would be off the bike today.

I loved them a lot more before I got this literbike... lol! Looking at my baby in the garage, the '93 Cobra, all I see these days is a huge chunk of money. Tell me, is the novelty of this bike going to wear off at some point? I'd hate to sell off my stangs and regret it later.

DONT SELL THEM!!!!! I had a teal 93 cobra an sold it should have never done that. I've been riding bikes for a long time and no it dose not were off, this is my first 1000 use to drag race super stock 600, now im doing the 1000 thing now. you can go fast.and cheaper with a bike but stangs rule. I just took a brake from spending a ton of money on my car when i can go faster for 1/2 the price but i won't sell my car. It can sit in the trailer.

Okey dokey. I've just been building Fox bodies since I was 14, over half my life ago. I've owned a bunch, and have three right now. I've dumped tens of thousands into them, and what do I have to show for it? None of them are even close to my goals for them. The Cobra is pretty sweet, but now when I drive it it feels so painfully slow it's killing me, and I really don't ride that hard at all. Considering that neither it nor the bike will go out unless it's sunny out, the bike is by far the more effective street weapon, it gets more than twice the mpg, I'm just completely losing interest in my beloved Mustangs. Not to mention, every single thing I want to do to my car costs thousands at a pop, everything I want to do to the bike costs hundreds. It just seems like by far the better hobbie for achieving a "finished product" in a timely fashion.

That all being said, I think the Cobra at least will be sticking around. As interested in it as I'm not right now, I'm still not sure I could part with it.

*edit*
getting back to your bike though: who made your undertail/fender elminator kit? Or were those flushed rear signals an '06 thing? I've seen a lot of kits, but none I like as much as that one.

same here had 22 to be exact you'll lose interest at first but it will come back. keep the cobra, as far as my tail section goes its just a stock 06 zx10r with a side mount exhaust. i made the bracket were my plate goes out of alum.
