Bike has 6700 perfect miles on it. It is in great condition with a PC III, arat full system exhaust in titanium, a puig db and new perelli tires.

ride the new R 1. Its a riders bike. I rode my roomates and now im sold

i hate the dash buzz at 4k, shitty bottom end, crap transmission, shaky front end(had a close call on our track, its a roundout on a closed of street lol) brakes and brakes again

the 08 kawi zx 10 r on the other hand dosent have these issues, but ever since i rode my roomates R1 all i wanna ride is his bike.

If i cant sell it soon, i will just trade it to the dealership. So i guess my 1 month old pc 3, and arata full system in titanium will be up for sale

Well Good Luck Selling It And I Hope You Get A Good Deal On A R1, I Like Yamaha For There Reliablity But To Be Honest I Never Rode A R1 So I Cannot Talk, I Have Rode 2 R6 Before And I Didn't Like Them At All.. But Maybe The New One's Have Improved.. Good Luck Dude And Ride Safe

Good luck on the new path you've chosen. Sorry to see a fellow ZX10R rider go. Just make sure the new '08 - '09 R1s don't have the the same electrical/fly by wire issues that plagued the '07 models. I'm not trying to beat up the R1 but just looking out for you so you don't leave a set of head aches behind to be introduced to a whole new set of new ones.

Its cool, i'll just grab it from HR motorsports... 250 is still a great deal but your wise to keep the two together.... even if you take it off and sell it with the stock exhaust then ebay the full system and PC3 cuz the dealer wont give you extra for it, stock or aftermarket.

Really, how do you figure? The r1 has the worst power of all the 1000cc bikes, no low end, so so mid, all top end, to me it defeats the purpose of a 1k bike. Good if all you do it track, but Yamaha to me is all about looks and less on performance and it been that way for the longest time. Same story with the r6, it being the last 600 i would own. I guess I just look for more than looks.

only i heard it was the midrange that suffered... but i always said the same... def. the best looking bike, but also the least performing...

I have never been a fan of the r1 looks, it looks like a mutated praying mantis. r6 looks better. My fav 1000cc look is Honda and Suzuki
