does any one know if a set of carbs for an 89-90 zx10 can be retrofitted on an '86 zx10? I'm having trouble finding a set for my 86. Has anyone done this before? Thanks for your help!
HI,i'm fairly sure GPZ 900 carbs will fit but what you call a ZX10 is a GPZ1000 and bears more resemblant to the 900.There are lots of problems just changing carbs let alone changing the type,realy clean them and be patient.Carbs from ZX10 are same type [CVKD36] as ZZR1100C[CVKD40].Carbs for GPZ1000[CVK36] GPZ900[CVK34] Hope this helps
