Any particular reason why? It seems a lot easier just to find one that is designed for that particular model and year. The only reason I could think of is that you have an '05 exhaust laying around and want to use for the '06 - '07.

no im just a big fan of the single side exhaust. Don't like the under tail, and i was hoping to mod a 04-05 to fit the 06-07. You guys have been a great help so far on this forum, and i love the kawi. thanks

It can be done... and there are brands out there that make single sides for the 06-07... check two bros, sato, comp werkes, and umm... thats all i can think of off the top of my head
