Yes It Will, It Will Be Skinny, But The Bike Will Handle A Little Better. Thats What People Usually Have On There 600's... Is There A Reason Why You Want That Size?

I rode 180 Michelin slicks for a while. I prefer the 190 which is on their now.

Pilot Power 2ct Is What I Have Used On My Bikes For 2 Years Now. I Love Them, They Are Not Cheap And You Will Problably Replace The Rear 3 Times Before You Replace Your Front.... Well Worth It Remember Your Tire Is The One Thing That Decides Where And What Your Bike Will Do Next To Your Brain. So Choose A Good Tire And Stay In Control. They Grip Very Nice And Wear Fast. In My Opinion, But Then Again I Do Wheelies All Day Long And Burn Out's Every Other Day And Abuse The Shit Out Of The Tires On Turns.... So Do Me They Have Proven The Quality. Matter Of Fact I Need A New One For My Gsxr. Heheheheee Last Burn Out In Front Of Popo Was Quite Funny...

Good tire for "twistie" use, and some moderate track ability, imho. The PP and PP 2ct are the same tire profile and compounds EXCEPT for the outer edges of the tires; basically where the "business" of high speed cornering is done. The 2ct has a slightly softer compound that improves grip. Your centerline wear will be exactly the same as if on a set of PPs. I've owned both, and hit the streets and track on both. The 2ct had better track qualities, but for the street alone? Meh, stick with a regular PP. But if its going to be dedicated for tracking, look into the Pilot Race DOTs or the slicks.
As for the larger tire profile, spiffy was referring to the "contact patch". You will have more of it when you are leaned over. Allowing, among other things, earlier (and safer) throttle application on the drives out of the corners.
