In reality it would take aprox. 250 hp to break 200mph.

The Akro And Arata Seem To Make The Most Power In The Zx10 The Arata Is Cheaper Then The Akro. You Will Need A Full System In Order To Get The Most Power

Well, I'm going to MMP at the end of August and I have a GPS lap timer (which also measures speed... ACCURATELY). With a 3500 foot front straight, I'll tell you how fast my no-engine-work having '06 ZX-10 with a 275 lb, 6'3" dude can go. Btw, MMP is outside Salt Lake so power is reduced due to altitude by some 10-15% they say.
In any event, stay tuned.

Hey just joined the group Today. I ride my 2006 zx10r 140 miles each day to work, and have to say after driving a properly set up bike (read up on how to set your bike to your weight and style of riding) and getting use to it, 130+ is like doing 70 or 80 mph. I went for max the other day and topped out at 184. After getting out of the throttle I realized I was still in 5th gear "yeah I'm a dumb ass" but watching for the PO PO. The only mods to my bike is a Two Brothers bolt on exaust. Next time the road is clear I will go for it again. I do like the gear indicator light as well, I priced one through Kawasaki and it was like $200.00 any rec. I did my first tripple digit wheelie last week racing a hemi dodge. by the way I smoked his ass and passed him at 110 in my wheelie.

That sounds like it could be enlightening.
I would love to set my bike up for my weight, but my wife rides with me A LOT, which throws everything way off.
Kawi makes a gear indicator?

Wow... it's that far off? Holy crap. My Fords aren't that bad. Looks like I can ride even faster now though, and that's cool

I forgot to say I just put a new OEM tire on my bike Tuesday so the speedo isn't off due to tire size.

Looks like speedohealer is going to be my next purchase. I can calibrate it so I can get an accurate reading on my speedo and.......... re-calibrate it to bypass the speed limiter

Seems as though the % of error increases the higher the speed. At 150 mph on the speedo I was reading 137 mph on my GPS. I also just ordered a GIpro w-ATRE at least I will know what gear I am in, Plus more power.
