The bits are here :)
Well, finally picked up my British Super bike bits and bobs and have started to strip my bike
There are quite a few changes, as you would imagine
Dymag wheels....Yum Yum £1900 worth alone 8O
STandard air intake
New air intake
Standard swinging arm
New one :) Been lengthened slightly
One off, custom made rear sub frame
Just got to swap it all over now, should be fun with a baby and no time

I creamed myself. I especially like the brake rotors on the front wheel...

Ive done forks quite a few times :)
A whole bike, making sure you have the wiring and plumbing in the right place is a different thing :)
Ill still post pics as it goes :)

Well, made some progress today, which is nice!
Got the Engine out
Had a bit of a clean up and chocked the engine ready for the new frame after swapping out various engine bolts (Hawk had left loads of titanium bolts in which was nice of them!)
Another something nice left on was the top shock mounting bracket, standard first, then my new one
Finally got the new frame on with all correct plumbing routes and wiring routes
So far, so good :)

OK, you will all be pleased to know that i hit my first stumbling block tonight :(
Its in the shape of the quick release swinging arm .......... and the missing bits that make it quick release...........Hawk cant find it, so i need to go back to standard, but something has been welded on the frame that im gonna have to drill or dremmel out in the shape of 1/4 moon type things, see pics below!
What would your advice be for getting the 1/4 moon shapes out? im thinking small drill (2mm) around the weld and seeing where we go from there? any advice appreciated !
But on the whole, we are making progress (which is nice)
Please ignore the hand cut slicks :)

Got it sorted :) Got a milling bit in my dremmel and milled them out and then cleaned them up, looks cool !!
Bits out
Nice new round holes
Had some fannying around with bearings and oil seals etc in the swinging arm, but got there in the end!!
Managed to get the swinging arm back on the bike :)

Whats to do?.........
Well, i have to hang the back of the bike from the ceiling and put it "chassis wise" on axle stands in prep for.........
Fit rear suspension (Swinging arm lift after that )
Fit an underslung rear brake caliper with a 64mm middle hole (AP racing is cheaper then Brembo)
Put the air box and tank back on, connect everything up............
Fabricate some frame to airbox conduits
Make a rear subframe "bottom" so i can place a battery and all the other electrical shite that goes under there
Retorque/copper slip/thread lock every bolt that has been undone (surprisingly, not that many)
Get/make some 5mm caliper spacers in for the front disks (310mm disks)
Get a front spindle machined up, unless i fancy dropping a shit load on Ohlins R and T forks.............Not

I admire your balls of a homebuild, but why? What do you expect from the bike when you are done?.

Waiting on some slicks being delivered, saves it rolling around the garage :)
