Sprocket change...
I just changed my sprockets today and WOW!!! what a difference, I went 1 down and 2 up...
I've read a couple threads now about how people are having trouble removing the engine sprocket nut. I suspect some people aren't flattening out that washer behind the nut enough. I flattened mine out and the nut zipped right off. It took me longer to clean up the tools than it did to change the sprockets.
Next week I will be installing a Speedo Healer. I orderd the new version that recently came out. Any body have any tips on calibrating it???

1 down, 2 up is the way to go.
How will you describe the difference from stock?.

Stock is just blah...
1 down, 2 up is the way the factory should've done it...
The bike takes off alot quicker and the front end comes up easier in 2nd gear.

We are talking 1 down in the front and 2 up in the rear... Not 1 down, 12 up!!! You don't lose that much speed and you take off alot quicker...

I think the thing is that if you only do -1 in the front you can adjust the stock chain. If you go up +2 in the rear also, you need to change the chain also.
By -1 you will spin the sprocket faster so maybe it wears the chain a tad bit quicker than normal.
