full system exhaust and PCIII???

hey guys,

i really thinking about getting rid of my bolt on 2 bros and getting a full system exhaust and a PCII.

With a tune and a filter i will see a nice gain in power.

Anyone running this setup? What brand?

i was thinking Akrapovic, but $1800 daummmm

Any suggestions?

I have a Brocks Performance Full system not too many have it and she sounds good. You may also like Arata,Leo Vince sbk they are very nice

anyone who has a full system with a pc 3 please chime in. If u have numbers from before and after the setup please respond. I just wanna make sure im doin the best i can before i dump $2000 in exhaust, a tune and pc 3

how much of a difference did u guys notice? is it work the 2 k?

Mines now making 191 at the rear thanks to a the guys at Chris Gunster Performance Centre.

They took the bike from new (166BHP on the dyno) and did the following:

Gas Flowed head
Fast Road Cams
Valve work
PCIII
Full Akrapovic Titanium Race System
+2-2 on the sprockets
Racetech tyres
Brembo Master Cylinder
Evotech tail tidy and exhaust hanger

Rides superb!!!! Power curve is unbelievable.

its a done deal for me. I got a bmc race filter, pc 3 with a custom map and the full system arata racing TI exhaust

i cant wait to put it on this weekend. The guys said to expect up to 17+ hp

Impressive specs and a lot of $$$ invested, but only worth it on the track which hopefully you're logging in some track time. Can't utilize all that performance upgrades on the streets, and if you try...

the most u get from a full system from 7 to 9 hp u will never get 17 hp

I did exactly what you suggest. I had the 2 brothers single vale slipon without PC. It backfired a lot. Eventually I went with the full Akra racing line stainless system. It weighs a whopping 2 lbs more than the EVO titaniu, and costs about 500 less. I bought it at hardracing.com. Cost was 1,099.00 plus shipping.

The powerband moved from the strong midrange of the 2 brothers to the upper third of the rev range. The Akra was not quite as loud at ful song as the 2 brothers. i installed the PC at the same time. I experimented with different maps untill i got it custom tuned. I think it was right at 169 hp. i had the race BMC but I went back to paper. I think there was more power and the intake ROAR was much less with paper. Here's a link to a photo of the install. after you open the link, click on the photo a couple times. It's a very high res image. You can see there is built in port that you could use for the auto tune feature. You won't be dissapointed with your purchase.

I donthave the dyno sheets anymore but i went from 150 and 74 ft lbs(un mapped two bro slip on) of torque to 165hp and almost 80 ft of torque..All was on my 06 10 was the bmc race a/f,custom mapped pc3 and a beet full system...Ya cant loose with an akro full system...1800 aint a bad price compared to a full beet..usd was 2300..Not sayin i paid that for it but still..
