Vertigo... there will always be a little lever travel... but be sure you bleed them really well again.. SO ... here is the $6 million dollar question, do you want no lever travel, or good brakes... or both... sounds like your brakes are better but with some lever travel.. which is normal for street applications, Now if you spend the $500 and get a billet MC, $1600 for Brembo Calipers, you will still have a small amount of lever travel, very small.... if you are not racing... what you have is more than sufficient.... :)
You have exactly the same setup I used on the track, its was plenty good enough for me, until I started going much faster... braking harder, etc, etc... only then did I start getting some brake fade, which is due to heat more than anything, I also learned that EBC HH pads are some of the hottest running pads out there..changed that too... to ferodo's.... holy shit I'm rambling... I'll shut the hell up now..
btw, what is the brand of your brake fluid?????

Motul 5.1, and yes i bled them, furthest caliper, nearest caliper, then MC. Twice... though the SS lines run direct to each caliper so it shouldnt matter which I bleed first... but I used a speed bleeder vacuum system... theres no air in there i garentee it.

Castrol SRF might make a small difference, it has the lowest compression rating, highest boiling point of them all...

I dont get it though... when i built my 05 ZX6RR, i had OEM stock brakes on it, stock calipers, i bought OEM lines, the MC was stock, and i had never bled brakes before, and they were ROCK solid, no lever travel at all... and here I have a ZX10 with upgraded lines and an R1 MC and it travels 1/3 the way... that doesnt make sense to me...

2 different bikes, if it works good than why worry about the lever travel?
u will get used to it slowly

Guess the 6RR brakes just spoiled me... It makes no sense though, why would a less powerful bike have more powerful brakes?

it makes perfect sense now=the kawi 10r is so fast that even its brakes cant hold it back. it is unstopable

More lever movement don't mean worse brakes!! I have just bought a Brembo RCS. I am told it has a longer travel when set to 19 x 18 than it does on 19 x 20. Difference is the 20 setting makes the brakes a little wooden. Not tried it yet so can't make my own comment. I would sooner have a little lever movement and great brakes. Reckon you were spoilt on the 6RR. I rember the brakes on my B1, were pretty good...to start with.

I recieved this yesterday from RED-RACING Italy...
http://www.moto-racing.co.uk/item--B...+All+Bike.html
Mounted it and WHAT A DIFFERENCE
I had allready mounted steel braided hoses and the Brembo 19RCS master cylinder was the cure for shitty brakes. The OE Nissin is crap!

On european bikes the master cylinder is Nissin and calipers are Tokico.

521 USD incl. freight & taxes
You might think that it was expensive, but a new ZX-10R costs here over 30000 USD incl. taxes
Sometimes I wonder is it really worth it?
