My '02 9R fighter
Hows it goin? im in the process of fightering my 9R just from the beginning of this winter...i have some before and after pics, i still have a few things to finish up on it, just yesterday i cut my exhaust 7" shorter and im going to have a custom pipe bent so my exhaust will have more of a "gp" look to it, just installed my veypor speedometer, got a new bmc air filter, sent my headers to jet hot, got a profactory stage one kit that needs to be installed yet, went +4 in the back and -1 in the front (sprockets), still need to make a bracket for the headlight, hope to have a set of pazzo's on it soon as well, has ss brake lines and chrome rims, the bike was mint before i decided to butcher it hahah

I Love Fighter Bikes. But The Purest In Me Says That It Is A Shame You Cut Up A Bike That Looked As Good As Yours. But Try An Acerbis Front End, That Is What Most Guys Out Here For Their Head Light.

I've got a 9r front end for sale if you'd like, a 97' B-series. Check out the post in my link to see pics. Good luck with your bike and not to be rude, but that is a shame. Beaut of a bike...

I think my heart got broke.
Be sure to keep us up to speed as ya go. (with pics)
I love streetfighters.
Im waiting for a good Suzi to cross my path.

Hey Joe welcome to kawi... er zx forums. Looks like your conversion is coming along. Hope you get finished what you want before spring.
ps. Your old plastics are being safely stored indoors at the moment.

i was actually thinking of doing the same to my 7r
after my accident, which really rashed up my right fairings
quite a bit.
good luck.
interested to see how it turns out, even tho i do agree
with some of the others in you fightering it when the bike
looked to be in great shape to begin with.
