3 words for this post "Jesus H. Christ" come on Ray you ruined an entire 3 page thread. gotta few questions for ray and his supporters-1. who pays for beckre's bike (i'll answer this one for you to minimize your pain; and i'm just guessing here- maybe beckre?) so my solution, let beckre worry about his own damn bike- you guys can worry about your bikes which brings me to question 2. what was this thread originally posted for? (i'll answer this one to save us all some time) beckre asked for thoughts on what colors schemes to put on his bike not what his swingarm looked like or what the zx-7's heritage or whatever other history someone can google up about the model and finally question 3. if you really love a style of bike like the zx-7, wouldn't you want to see the bike live on in other's own form of love for our beloved kawi's. in this case beckre likes to drag race and he just so happens to like the zx-7 model of bike so given the previous questions combined, why not combine the two loves?

by the way beckre i'm a Navy Seabee of 6 years so i have a lot of experience around Marines and you guys aren't half bad...lol...i like the flat black and i would like to see everything else on the bike black that's only because you asked for opinions though...hahaha....oh and maybe with some glossy black on the metal parts, but def do away wit those green rims it aint working

oh and i almost forgot, because i can't let this comment go because it's about the dumbest one i've ever seen....ray say's that, "a drag strip is not a racetrack." well ray, last time i checked, most drag strips i've seen are located at "race parks" and there are even entire leagues for drag racing some people may of heard of the "NHRA". Oh yeah, and there is this one guy that pretty much dominates on the drag side of racing. which happens to be a Kawasaki rider his name is "Rickey Gadson." since you like wikipedia so much here ya go on some more info that might clear this up for you.

A race is a competition of speed, against an objective criterion, usually a clock. The competitors in a race try to complete a given task in the shortest amount of time. Typically this involves traversing some distance, but it can be any other task involving speed.

Running a distance is the most basic form of racing, but races are often conducted in vehicles, such as boats, cars and aircraft, or with animals such as horses.

A race may be run continuously from start to finish or may be made of several segments called heats or stages (stages are also known as legs). A heat is usually run over the same course at different times. A stage is a shorter section of a much longer course or a time trial.

Early records of races are evident on pottery from ancient Greece, which depicted running men vying for first place. A chariot race is described in Homer's Iliad.

you can never go wrong with a rat-rod or "greaser muscle" look. flat black is always a good choice

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Idiot is a word derived from the Greek ἰδιώτης, idiōtēs ("person lacking professional skill," "a private citizen," "individual"), from ἴδιος, idios ("private," "one's own").[1] In Latin the word idiota ("ordinary person, layman") preceded the Late Latin meaning "uneducated or ignorant person."[2] Its modern meaning and form dates back to Middle English around the year 1300, from the Old French idiote ("uneducated or ignorant person"). The related word idiocy dates to 1487 and may have been analogously modeled on the words prophet[3] and prophecy.[4][5] The word has cognates in many other languages.

History
"Idiot" was originally created to refer to "layman, person lacking professional skill", "person so mentally deficient as to be incapable of ordinary reasoning".[6][7] Declining to take part in public life, such as democratic government of the polis (city state), such as the Athenian democracy, was considered dishonorable. "Idiots" were seen as having bad judgment in public and political matters. Over time, the term "idiot" shifted away from its original connotation of selfishness and came to refer to individuals with overall bad judgment–individuals who are "stupid". In modern English usage, the terms "idiot" and "idiocy" describe an extreme folly or stupidity, its symptoms (foolish or stupid utterance or deed). In psychology, it is a historical term for the state or condition now called profound mental retardation.[8]

or better yet

Stupidity is the quality or condition of lacking intelligence, as opposed to being merely ignorant or uneducated. This quality can be attributed to both an individual or a person's actions, words or beliefs, or those of a group.

As an English word, it implies that the attributed party is not mentally retarded but rather is willfully ignorant and/or unintelligent, and displays poor use of judgement or insensitivity to nuances.

I'd proffer an insult here, but why expend the effort when it will pass beyond recognition anyway. Oh wait, it's Haloween and you're probably out 'trik or treating' on the clown machine.. Well, don't eat too much candy before bedtime..

Seriously though, thanks for the comic relief.. Its been fun.
