time slips

wasnt very impressed with my times. 10.28, 10.20, and the best was 10.09. nothing to brag about. tire was brand new and kept spinning comming out of the hole.

That's still respectable for a bike that size on a street tire... they aren't exactly light. Put a slick on it and run it in really good first and you'd probably crack well into the nines. What pressure were you starting with in the rear?

at first i was running at around 30, the last time was at around 15, tire only had around 50 miles on it also.

Oh man, you needed to run another 100 miles at least on that tire first, and with the pressure down a little so the whole track contact patch is getting broken in not just the middle.

He got rid of those stock mufflers. They're heavy.
Curious what your speeds were.

Still very respectfull. This last sunday a bunch of us went to the track and my buddy with his busa ws running 10.5's so your in the right ball park
