Its not that i don't lean cuz i love to lean into the corners. problem is i live in KS. no lie when i say the roads here are straight, and i'm way to affraid to come in hot on a turn at an intersection, never know if there is gonna be oil or a busted light out in the middle of the road. There are 3 90º truns and a little S bend on my ten miles of road to work.... and the S is the only thing that even touches the sides of my tire...
Trust me there is very few twisty near here where you can go faster than 30mph, most twistys that the local guys ride are through neighborhoods and i'm not gonna go 60mph through some residential street...
I want to get "home" back to the Black Hills of So Dak, and hit some canyons! fk! now i'm just pissed that i live in KS...

Mine has the LS-1 i have close to 475 hp at the wheels, full 3" with headers and LS6(vette) ported intake, gears, cam, and SLP intake with K&N, and a full cpu tune.
As for price... i bought my car as a repo outta cali, for 3grand BB value is about $12,000.00. If you get serious about looking for an F-body car PM me, i know a guy that buys them wrecked and fixes them up he was my connection. Its a good time, but i still like my bike!

Looking good man. Wish I could find a wrecked bike to work on and fix up but have had no luck in my area. Everyone I guess is just giving the to the insurance company or aren't selling them. And you cant buy a full wrecked bike at any of the few salvage yards around here. You can only buy parts if you can find the salvage yards.

I know you have said it in one of your other threads while you were repairing the 636 but which ebay fairings are on there? and how was the fitment? Also are they fiberglass?

yeah, i got my bike at a salvage/repo auction... but you have to be a dealer, i just new a guy...
down side tho
1) i can't get it sold
2) i'm asking 3700 and i have about 3400 in it, so i'm not making crap plus i'm paying for the insurance and paid to have the title work done so i'm gonna break even...
i guess it was fun and i got to play with it... but it was a headache...

Oh no doubt. If I can ever find one I am planning on taking it doing the repairs and turning it into a track bike. So I wont have to deal with the registration issues, I won't be trying to sell it, and I don't have to insure it since it won't be registered. I will probably end up registering it and putting insurance on it. But I don't have to while I am doing the repairs or anything like that.

yeah i wasn't goin to title it, but KS state law prohibits me from selling an unregistered bike... I suppose that makes sense.
