Also keep an eye on the classifieds here.
It should have that information on the title. You can also try googling kawasaki sportbike models and trying to find a pic that looks most liek yours. I will tell you now it isn't a zx, no offense not trying to be a jerk.

It's a genuine Rat bike no matter the year or specific size.

Not sure an 1100 motor will even fit on that frame the way it is. Although anything is possible with enough modifications

Would it not be cheaper in the long run to just by a good used 636 or something? Im not trying to be a jerk, it just sounds like a costly restoration. I fully restored an 89 Honda CB1 as my first bike. It sat outside unused for 10 years. I stripped it to the frame and just about replaced every part on it, including powder coating the frame. It cost me damn near 5k all said and done. But it was a fun project, so I can see the reward if that is what you are looking for.

def dont see an 1100 fitting in there at all unless you chop and weld the frame. just go with the original motor maybe bore it out a little bit and some cam work thatd be cool and plenty for your first one

I'm not at all against fixing the old bikes up, that's all I ever have done. But that isn't a bike. It's only half there! What you need to make that thing feasable is a crashed bike to transfer parts from. You might just find one for cheap, and have everything you need in one shot. That is getting old tho, and parts bikes are going to be hard to come by.

Hey bro, what you got there is an 85-88 GPX 600R. I'm thinking the 85-86 more so then the 87-88 just from the pics. Best of luck with your restoration, they can look pretty cool when they are intact. Here's a photo for you to work off of...
