I guess my question is Do you need to replace the oil filter every oil change or do you change it every other oil change. thanks

I say this could depend on how many miles between your oil changes and how obsessive you are. Personally, I change oil about every 2000 miles and filter every other change.

yea its been about 2000 miles since my last oil change and im thinking of changing it soon but i changed my filter last oil change so i was just wondering.

ive been going every two oil changes to 1 oil filter...... up to you.... i use the K&N's filters and it was perfectly clean and still red so i wasnt gonna chuck it just yet...

I would recommend changing the oil filter every oil change. You wouldn't want to take a shower and put your dirty socks back on would you? Just my 2 cents.

I change my oil filter every other time. I do low mileage anyway so I think its ok!
