Changing Oil/Winterizing

Hey all...this is the first winter ill have my bike and just curious what you guys do to winterize your bike. I will be changing my oil this coming week and curious on the oil/filters you guys use. Would it be better to order offline or go to the only bike shop there is within my area. I have an 07 zx6r if that matters at all? Thanks

front and rear stands are nice to get your tires off the ground. this keeps flat spots from forming. Plenty of sta-bil in the gas tank-ride the bike after filling it up with premium gas and add double the amount of recommended sta-bil. that will get the stabil through the fuel system and into the injectors.

wash, wax, detail the bike cleaning it. Put it somewhere dry and secure, cover it with an old blanket or sheet. connect a trickle charger or battery tender maintainer to the battery and plug in.

new fresh oil..the kawasaki oil and filter is fine.

Move down south, then you will get to ride at least once a week even if it is for only a few miles...
