new member zx11 question

I am rebuilding the forks of a '91 Zx 11C, but have no current access to a service manual. I need capacity and weight recommendations, please.

Thanks

O crap, this is all D info, sorry. I don't have C info on me.

From the service manual-

Fork Oil Viscosity - SAE 10W-20
Amount per unit- 465 +/- 4ml D3 model- 467 +/- 4ml
when changing- 410ml
Level- 133+/-2mm from top fully compressed w/o spring
131=/-2mm from top for D3
Spring free length 295mm, D3 296mm

Thanks for the effort! Not sure whether the D is the same as C - hopefully some one here has C specs; they could be the same, but I want to be sure. Got the sliders out for P/C, and will have them back at the end of the week, and ready to assemble then. Dick

from what i just seen on www.mrcycles.com theres very little difference in the forks between the C & D... from what i could see the bottom fork tubes looked a little different but other than that they use the same fork tubes etc...

Here you go:

Damper adjuster: 2nd click clockwise
Spring preload adjuster position: 6th mark from the top
Oil: SAE 10W-20
Amount per unit: 458 +/- 4 mL
390 mL when changing oil
Fork Oil Level: 149 +/- 2mm (fully compressed without spring)
Fork spring free length: 438 mm

That comes from the factory service manual supplement. Never rebuilt mine so this is where I would start.

Thanks, fellas
Just checked my spring free length from the above info, and found ok.
Turns out there is substantial difference between C and D models.

Appreciate the help!
