Whered My Oil Go?
The oil in my bike was where it should have been. Between the 2 lines but more towards the top one. I put 11 miles on the bike and i before i went for a ride today i looked and i could see any oil? I twisted the cap off and took a look in there and still couldnt see any. Does this bike go through oil that fast or whats going on here? Thanks

Was the bike standing straight up? If it isn't straight up then all the oil will be on the left side of the motor and you won't be able to see any of it. Hope this is your issue and it should not be going through oil that quickly. If it is you have an issue like a huge leak

And there aren't any pools of oil anywhere? Because there is no reason you should have lost that much oil that quickly unless there is a huge leak

I propose that he did a recent oil change and didn't run & top-off the level after the filter was refilled.
What do I win?

if you havent done an oil change and you top it off one day its fine, and the next its not, you have oil consumption. Your rings and or valve seats are going out.
How many miles do you have?

Speaking of oil....
Well speaking of oil, I just picked up my 2002 zx6 and despite the fairing a bit loose and needing replaced I'm so happy with her! I have had the biker blues for too long. Ok so I picked up an oil filter and 4 quarts of 20w50 they didn't have amsoil so I had the shop guy grab a semi-synthetic? I just know that the oil needs changed bad and want to flush her out. I will post pics soon just as she is and then after I have her valves adjusted, tune up and new fairing etc.
How much oil does she need? Also What do I need to get for a coolant flush and how much coolant? Thanks to all my new fellow riders out there!

if your actuly looseing oil that fast, then you will either have a lot more smoke , or a lot more puddles.. i mean it has to go somewhere, and oil tends to stick around when drip droped on the pores ground..
but, what happened? i hope you didnt have to pull you head off !!!
