Type of Coolant

I just bought a Used ZX6R and noticed that the coolant is low. Im new to riding and am curious what type of coolant i should put in it? Would i go to my dealer or jusy an bike shop? Also do i need to drain the existing fluid? Thanks guys

Some coolants you can mix. Others such as engine ice you cannot mix with another coolant.

If you are not wanting to change your coolant I have used Maxima Coolanol.

If you are wanting to drain all your coolant I would suggest engine ice

or just add distilled wate and keep an eye on the resy .....

Unless you are using an extended drain coolant, your system should be drained, flushed and re-filled every 2 years.
