From what I understand many older bike's clutches prefer a conventional oil.
Synthetic automotive oil is most likely to make them slip. Synthetic bike oil is less likely to make it slip.
You're probably best off with a conventional bike oil. Some guys run conventional Rotella. It might be a good choice. Maybe someone who does will have more details.
