Thottle cable lube.

Hi all,
Is there a lube that i can use that i can just pick up at my nearest Autozone
or hardware store.Ive went to 3 different bike dealers & none of them had any in stock.And was told that i should not use wd-40, for it will just clean it out
but really wont lube it.Any help would be great.

Look at smaller shops if the bigger ones don't carry it. I can't remember what kind I use. It's something like "Cable-Life" or some such shit. I bought it because it came with the cable tool. It does a good job.

Cable Life for me too. Somebody should be able to get it if they don't have any in stock though.

i actually use PB BLASTER on all my cables... its cool to watch it suck down in between the cable/sheath....
