I ask because I only got 2 litres of oil and may need some more if the bike does need 4 litres, I am waiting on the filter before I start. So any one with a 05-06 636 can help please?

Oh you're going to need more oil.

My bike has a label under the back seat that has all this info on it.

you need 3.6 without removing the filter 3.8 if you are removing the filter and changing it and 4L if your engine is dry. (dont know when you'd be in that situation)

I just changed my oil on my 05 636, with a new oil filter it took almost 4 quarts. Next to the oil window it says it should take 3.6 liters.
