oil level

I just changed my oil and filter

i think the level is too high, it's way above the max level on an even surface...

can this be a problem if the oil level is higher.. I put in 4L but now someone told me I should have put 3.6L as oppose to 4L.

thanks

Yep. Drain it down until, with the bike LEVEL (on paddock stand or someone holding) the oil level should be right between the two marks on the oil window. Suck some out with a turkey baster, syringe, tubing, etc. from the fill cap location is the easiest way. Too much oil can actually damage the engine.

Or you could just loosen the drain plug a little and let it drain/dribble out a little bit.
