What is every one running for brake fluid? Sticking with the recommended dot4 or maybe some of you big spenders are running the motul rbf 660? Let me know. I am running dot4 but im thinking of changing.

steel lines are one of the best mods you can do to any bike. the only reason I asked was because you'd actually be wasting your money on the rbf 660 fluid if you ran stock rubber lines. the 660 fluid is designed for super high pressures that the stock lines are not capable of producing. Plus the 660 fluid would need to be changed out more often than regular DOT 4. don't bother upgrading the rotors unless you're racing or on the track. you won't be able to keep them at operating temperature on the street.

Always a worthy mod, Steel lines, I just ordered a set front and rear for mine, as to your fluids ?I personally use whatever is recommended, I guess I feel safe using whatever the book says.

I go to mph in my neck of the woods and get steel braided lines custom made for me. They run 30-50 a line, alot cheaper than these kits offered by stores. Stay with the DOT-4 unless your a badass on the track. You will not get the fluid hot enough riding street.
