help with 905 cage & fairing removal to do oil change

I have an '06 636, I bought it about a month ago. According to the guy I bought it from, its due for an oil change. The bike came with a 905 stunt cage.

Ive never done any sort of slider installation/removal, and by the looks of it, Im gonna have to remove the cage, to get the fairing off, in order to do the oil change.

How do I go about removing the cage, and should I remove it from both sides, to perform the oil change? Or can I get away with just removing the cage and fairing from one side of the bike to do the oil change.

Are there any special tools or considerations I need to take before removal of the cage/fairings?

any help would be appreciated.

here's a picture for reference, not the best, but gives a little idea.

id try getting to the oil filter without removing the cage or the farings. should be possible but you may need to use some contortionist skills to bend your arm at odd angles
