As far as I know Royal Purple only makes synthetic oil. It is a great oil and you could never go wrong using it. I use Amsoil synthetic because I think it is just as good, easier to find, and costs less. You can't go wrong with Amsoil! Put about 1500 miles using Kawchem before changing to synthetic to assure proper break in.

i have used moble 1 and havent had a problem but i ahve 3 friends that have used synthitic and it has actualy caused there clutch plates to slip under a hard load..so its your call cheif
