I'll start with the most obvious: 350hp vs 35hp.
Anyone else want to chime in?

Doesn't surprise me. You can add alot of torque and hp to those dodge diesels. it doesn't say if that truck had any motor mods.
I have a chevy 8.1 gasser, 340hp, 455ft lbs, with some mods and 4.10 gears. Match that with the 5 speed Allison and a 250 wouldn't have a chance.

Getting my wife to drag race me with the truck would be a chore in itself. I could give her a 1/8 mile head start and she would still lose.

dude wtf??...the guy on the bike didnt launch it right sounded like he slowly slid the clutch out.and it wasnt rev high enough
he wasnt tucked down , not like it would make a big diff. but still it might play a role....overall the biker sucked monkey balls....when they got to about 60+ mph the truck would win easily

I think ridin wb explained in perfect 350hp diesel probably with a turbo. Against 35hp max speed 110 in 2.2 miles. The video doesnt lie.I would love to do the same with my ford lightning with over 500hp to the rear with a moped.. Get r Done..

So thats not a stock diesel, it has a power chip unit sitting in the opening above the radio? Looks like a Bully unit maybe Banks plug n unit. My little brother has one of those on his Dodge turbo diesel 3500 and he walks all over new vettes till about 90mph. then the rearend gearing limits his top speed. 250 Ninja never had a chance. MAybe completely modded out with a seasoned rider.

Depends on what you are talking about. In general terms, 0-60 or a quarter mile race- almost anything with four wheels and less than 500whp is going to have it's work cut out for it. A top speed run or a high speed roll-on is another story. A 400+ hp car probably will not beat a 6R in the quarter mile but as far as top end, it should definately have it. The superior hp/weight ratio of bikes only gets you so far before brick-like aerodynamics take effect. I think the general rule of thumb is 500+ hp is where you need a bigger bike, but that all depends on the weight of the vehicle and rider skill level for the bike. For example-- you can run 10's with a 350whp civic, but not a 350whp truck, you dig?
Don't race cars with your bike though...they're big and solid and don't move very well if you hit them

TRUE STORY: I couldn't get around a new Escalade on my 2-fiddy. So this is NO suprise that a .25 liter couldn't touch a Cummins Turbo Diesel with a programmer! Wanna impress me? Somebody TURBO a 250 and take a 6! Probably impossible, but then again, I never thought I'd see the day a turbo 4 banger would smoke a V8! (WRX STI vs. Mustang GT, just an example)

I've got a WRX.... I eat mustangs all day long with it.... (sorry for the little thread hijack there)
Ok, the real reason I'm on here is because I was searching to see if one of the 250 Ninjas has enough power for the gf. She is riding an 82 suzuki GN250 and it's enough for around town and some back roads, but there's no way it can go on the highway and keep speed on any sort of incline. I'm going to have to say that there's enough for her though. and I saw an 08 with barely any miles on it for 2500 on craigslist the other day... They are pretty nice looking bikes too. The 07- with the square headlights just don't do it for looks, and that's unfortunately something she's worried about! Maybe she will dump the GN this fall before getting a Ninja so that she gets it out of her system and doesn't screw up all the plastic!

stock mustangs aren't much, be very afraid of shelby 500's (my buddy has one modded) and some z06 vettes. My friend's mostly stock z06 with just a set of slicks and some bolt on stuff runs quartermiles like bikes.
