i have a 2007 kawasaki ninga 500r. i need to know what the 17mm bolt on the right side of the engine is, near the bottom nearly right beside the oil veiwing window. i accidently took it out thinking it was the oil drain plug, a small amount of oil came out. i put the bolt back but not sure what it was for or if i need to add oil or something else back to it or even where. i did manage to chane oil and oil filter the correct way, just afraid to crank it or drive it till i find out what that bolt was for. any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the bolt in the cover or the cases. post a pic if you can.

its the mail oil gallery plug. just put it back in.

thanks, what is a mail oil gallery plug and what is its purpose, if you dont mind?.. do i need to put any oil back in that hole somehow?
