Angry Dropped!

My wife decided to try and surprise me the other night by pulling my bike in, and well, I was surprised! She dropped it in the driveway, so now I have to buy bar ends, a new brake lever, front turnsignals, and have the fairing fixed and re-sprayed! A dumb question for whoever can answer it, will the brake and clutch levers from an 07 fit on an 08? They look the same to me, but I don't want to order them and then not fit! Any help will be MOST appreciated!!!

I doubt the '07's will fit the '08 model. A lot of stuff was completely redesigned for '08. The levers may look the same but the hook-up might be slightly or completely different.

I know a couple of guys with 08's who dropped theirs and ordered '08 levers. Unfortunately; they were on back order. Not sure if they came in yet or not and that's from around here anyway so may be different where you are.

Good luck and I guess your wife won't be going anywhere near your bike in future - right

id invest in some decent frame sliders.
some of that damage would have been prevented.

and id go to your local dealer, ask them to look up the 07 250 lever and then have them look up the 08 250 lever and see if the part number matches.

simple way to see if they used the same levers.
