Have you put 1k miles on your '08 yet?
Hey people...I am up to 1150 miles after 1 month of owning my 2008 250R and so far, so good! The only "issue" if you can call it that is I hear a high pitched noise coming from my filler cap on the tank. Any ideas on what this noise is, if it's harmful/normal, etc.?

I Ride: 06 kawi 10r in too fast orange, 06 CBR 1000RR Repsol and drive a 4 banger all wheel drive turbo charged go cart lancer contraption aka EVO

no, i think its the gas tank venting. Kawis do that
i had about il on my bike in a week

I'm still waiting for mine. I should take delivery sometime this month. I don't know if it is the gas prices or what but the dealers around my area can't keep them in stock.. I can't wait, by the by do the 2 brother slip on pipes do anything for performance or just change the tone of the pipes?

my mechanic said its just electronic valves. i have 7800 miles on my bike. still runnin good, wish i had a bigger one thats for sure.

ive had my 08 10r for a little over a month and got 3400 already

Yeah its just venting. ware it out a bit more and it'll quit, might hear it every now then when its real hot but it subsides after awhile....
