2008 lowering job.
Anyone know of a company that makes a lowering kit yet for the 2008 250??
Just bought one for my GF last Saturday, blue one, $4500 out the door with 4 year extra warrenty for her.
Bike is 1.5 inches taller than the old model and she is 5'4'' 100lb Asian chick. So i need it lowered 2 inches for her.
Dealership sent me to their aftermarket people, but no parts available yet in the catalogs!!. I might have to go the "custom build" route if noone here knows of a manufactor.
I know its a new bike, but I want it done now, no use in the garage!.
Thanks.
I ride 2006 ZX10R, black. Did an intro in the ZX10R Forum
Great forum.
Thanks guys.

So I got a quote for a custom lowering job today. Only about $250. Custom link is only $125.
No brainer. Just thought I would post it for others.

I will have some pics soon
Just ordered Jardine Exhaust and Shogun frame slider kit. So I just need to find some adjustable levers and the bike is done.

exhaust
Will do
Just remember also the Jardine is only $269.00 compared to the two bros which is like $350-500 depending on Carbon fiber or not. The money was the deal breaker for me.

I saw a red one at a dealership that was lowered by an inch. My legs are quite short and didn't really feel a difference between that and my stock one now. I'm also on my tip toes- but at least I have two feet down. Ask the dealership if they can lower it for you. They'll be charging you extra for the parts and labor, of course.
