New ZX-7R owner from SW VA

Hello everyone, just picked up my 2003 ZX-7R 2 days ago. I don't have a garage so its sitting in my kitchen right now waiting for its tags. I hope to be riding it by Friday.

Sweet! That thing looks cherry, how many miles are on it? Looks like it's got some mods too, aftermarket signals, spikes, smoked tail with integrated signals and a fender elimator... where's the plate gonna go? That a Muzzy can? Full or slip on?
Anyway, welcome to the forums!

Looks purty. And I think of worse places to keep it. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, yea its clean as hell. It has 5500 miles on it and has been well taken care of. I got a killer deal on it and couldn't pass it up. I've been wanting one of these since back in '97. It has a D&D slip-on. Never been a big fan of D&Ds but this one doesn't sound too obnoxious. It has a swingarm tag bracket on the left side.

I got to ride it today. I'm pretty happy with the way the bike handles and feels. It def does not have the power and acceleration of my old '01 GSX-R 750 (it was geared all to hell too, -2/+4) but all in all I am very happy with my ZX7R. Looking forward to another day of riding tommorow. I sure have missed being on 2 wheels.

Beautyfull bike right there.
The last production year for ZX7-R. I like the colour very much, i've seen it once on a ZX10-R, back in 2007 in a Kawasaki dealer showroom.

Your 2003 version has another headlights configuration, yours are the same and there's no third one. I knew are all the same but.... surprize for me...they arn't....

My headlight set, look for the difference
