thought it was primer, or as street rodders would say, its suede. It'll look great once you get it finshed.

Wait, it is finished! It is a clearcoated primer. Was wanting an old hot rod look. Somethin' different. Turned out well but the paint isn't very durable. I give it a year before it needs painted again!

Try bedliner next time you paint it. You can get the same flat black look in a much more durable coating. Most autoparts stores will have the stuff in a spray can, making it cheap and easy to apply.

I've seen a 'busa done a similar way and thought it looked great.

Very nicely done 7 there
