06 ZX636 Tail Tidy Help Please!!

Hi Everyone, Im not too good at anything to do with DIY and have spent 2 hours today struggling with trying to fit a simple tail tidy to my Bike.
I have got the old one off and have fitted the new one but cant work out how the number plate light unit goes back into place. If anyone can be off any help at all i would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Not sure if I completely understand your question. If I guess right, your bike had the stock fender (mudflap) and you installed an aftermarket piece (fender eliminator) to clean up the tail?? If this is the case you may be out of luck adapting the stock plate light to your new fender eliminator. One way around that would be to purchase license plate mounting bolts that have led lights in them. Like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Duel-...spagenameZWDVW

Thanks for your response, my bike is the previous shape to yours and i should be able to use the same number plate light. I have the tail tidy on but i cant manage to get the number plate light cluster back in correctly. There are 3 or 4 parts that need to go back into place but it seems that whatever i try it doesnt seem to want to fit properly. I think i will have to pop to my local bike shop to get them to do it.
Thanks again for coming back to me, Ride safe. Grant.

are you sure the stock cluster is meant to fit? My fender eliminator came with new light and mounting setup.

if you really need help, make a poll with three options, all saying you need help. for changing out your undertail... in one way, this is pretty smart, another way, it's pretty dumb.
